Midweek Motivation: Mauricio Fredes

We at INGRI:DAHL love to interview inspiring and motivational people for our weekly Midweek Motivation column. Reading about another person’s experiences or take on how to be successful give us a kick midweek to give a little extra at our designer 3D glasses company! This week we have interviewed the talented Mauricio Fredes from Chile. Enjoy!

1. Who are you and what do you do? I’m Mauricio Fredes, I’m 22, and I’m from Santiago, Chile. I’m an Image Design student.

2. Your favorite trip ever and why? I’ve always wanted to visit the Greek islands, landscapes attract me, the sea of course, all the history that surrounds them, and its architectural.

3. What is your favorite 3D movie and which one are you looking forward to? My favorite is Avatar and I’m waiting for The Hobbit!

4.Who is your style icon? My style icon is Emmanuelle Alt, the editor in chief of Vogue Paris, she always has a super urban look but also sophisticated. She can mix so amazing jackets of thousands of dollars with Topshop jeans and look super chic. Also I think her vision of fashion is reflected clearly in the magazine, making the Vogue Paris much more bold and edgy than the rest.

5. What are three things you can’t live without? My Iphone, my bed, my skinny jeans (..and all my shoes, and my family and friends.)

6. What is your advice to someone who is pursuing their passion as a career? My advice is to stick to the end, the most important thing is life is to do things that one loves is the only way to be truly happy. Be passionate about what you do leads you to do things better and to my right, better results are achieved. I also think that only with love for what you do, you can make real contributions to our careers, either new creations, strategies or simply new ways of looking at things. My best example of this is Grace Coddington.

Get inspired by Mauricio’s words and work a little harder the next hour (or day or rest of the week) to complete your goals for this week.

Cheers,

INGRI:DAHL crew

We would love to hear from you!
